Originally from Jiangxi, China, he has been a Hangzhou-based artist since graduating the New Media Art Department of the China Academy of Art (BA, 2009). His work encompasses video, installation and photography. is the winner of the 2019 Jimei x Arles Discovery Award with ‘Ask for the Moon’.
